The location of the lodge offers a beautiful rural setting, with stunning views of the fields and Froggatt Edge. The cottage itself is modern and done to a high standard, providing complete privacy for guests. The hosts are accommodating and friendly, offering helpful recommendations for walks and places to eat. The cottage is also clean and well-presented, with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay.
It would have been nice to have a bath in the bathroom, but this is just a personal preference.

Had a great Easter break at this lodge! The location was perfect, with stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions like Chatsworth House and Bakewell. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful tips for walks and places to eat. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable, and the secure garden was a bonus for our dog. a peaceful and enjoyable stay!
We did encounter a couple of minor inconveniences. there was no milk provided for a proper cuppa upon arrival, which was a bit disappointing.

We had an amazing Christmas getaway! the cabin was modern, spacious, and had everything we needed. the view of the horses from the living room was a lovely touch. We enjoyed sitting outside with a cup of tea, taking in the beautiful surroundings. the nearby pub served delicious tapas and the walks along the river were delightful. Plus, our furry friend had a great time too. We can't wait to come back!
The lack of milk for a proper cup of tea and the limited hot water in the morning. these were minor inconveniences and didn't overshadow the overall lovely experience.
